End Child and Forced Marriages

Every girl deserves the freedom to learn, grow and shape her own future.

As global leaders gather today to sustain and resolve to end child forced marriage, Zambia Anglican Council Outreach Programmes (ZACOP) stands with UNFPA Zambia and fellow partners in this shared commitment.

Through the Anglican Church, we work with faith leaders and communities to foster open conversations about girls’ rights, education, adolescent health and the prevention of gender-based violence. Faith leaders can help challenge harmful norms, support families and speak out against child marriage.

Protecting girls is everyone's responsibility. Together, we can build communities where every girl is safe, heard and free to pursue her future.
