Anglican Development for Community Services

The Zambia Anglican Council Outreach Programme hosted a team from the Burundi Anglican Church Development Arm, Anglican Development for Community Services, with support from Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD) from 19 to 20 September 2024.

The Peer Exchange Visit was designed as a professional mentorship experience for SADC and ZACOP. It provided an opportunity for individual members of staff working in the church agencies and the church leadership to experience personal development through the promotion of cross-cultural sharing, professional knowledge sharing, and best practices.

It was an amazing time seeing the teams network, build relationships, and friendships.

The five days spent together enhanced exposure to new ideas

and perspectives, improved partnerships and collaborations, and enhanced organizational learning and innovations.

From the devotions, we were empowered with keys to success in development work as church agencies living the mission of the church in the communities we serve.
