SBCC Summit Reflection 22–26 June 2026

From 22–26 June 2026, the Zambia Anglican Council Outreach Programmes (ZACOP) had the privilege of participating in the SBCC Summit by Ellen Mwila Chanda Mubanga and Kelvin M Munsongo .This was a transformative learning experience centred on the theme:

"The Power of Connection: Reimagining Knowledge, Action and Equity in a Changing Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) Landscape."

Throughout the summit, we were inspired to strengthen our commitment to:

The Power of Connection and Relationships – Building trust and fostering meaningful partnerships that drive sustainable change.

Knowledge and Evidence – Using research, learning, community experiences, and evidence to inform decisions and improve programme effectiveness.

 Action and Impact – Turning insights into practical action that delivers measurable and lasting impact for communities.

Inclusion and Equity – Ensuring that women, children, youth, persons with disabilities, and all vulnerable groups are meaningfully included and empowered.

Zambia Anglican Council Outreach Programmes (ZACOP) Leadership Commitment

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Episcopal Relief & Development for facilitating our participation through their generous support. Their partnership continues to strengthen our work in supporting caregivers and children in rural Zambia through the Anglican Church in Zambia.

The knowledge gained, the relationships built, and the shared experiences from the summit will continue to shape our work as we transform knowledge into action, strengthen connections for greater collaboration, and advance equity for sustainable community impact.
